Job description
Position Overview

The RNOH currently has a Senior Clinical Fellow post in a specialist hip & knee unit available for a 1‑year fixed term. Applicants should have completed core surgical training and have experience in elective orthopaedics, with a particular interest in hip and knee arthroplasty surgery.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high quality care to patients requiring primary and revision hip and knee arthroplasty and complex limb reconstruction.
  • Deliver day‑to‑day care of in‑patients, out‑patients, outpatient clinics, and theatre duties as an integrated member of the team.
  • Participate in the research and audit activities of the unit, including peer‑reviewed clinical publications, international presentations and quality improvement projects such as robotic surgery and day‑case arthroplasty.
  • Support junior members of the team, assist in theatre, and contribute to the management of patients across the care pathway.
Qualifications
  • Completed core surgical training.
  • Experience in elective orthopaedics.
  • Ideal interest in hip and knee arthroplasty surgery.
