Job description
Responsibilities

The post holder will be expected to assist in the running of cardiology services within the Lister Hospital and will work at registrar level. The post holder will be involved in in‑patient and out‑patient management of cardiac patients with a variety of conditions. Successful candidates will play a pivotal role in managing cardiology services at Lister Hospital, overseeing both in‑patient and out‑patient care for patients with diverse cardiac conditions. The role includes comprehensive training in both invasive and non‑invasive cardiology, as well as active involvement in the cardiology registrar on‑call schedule.

Experienced individuals may pursue specialized training in intervention (PCI and PPCI) or in Advanced Imaging (CMR, Stress Echo, Cardiac CT).

Qualifications

Applicants should be a qualified physician with registrar‑level training in cardiology or a strong interest in advancing at registrar level. Candidates with experience in cardiac patient management and a commitment to continuous learning in invasive and non‑invasive cardiology are preferred.
