Job description
Senior Clinical Fellow – Anaesthesia & Perioperative Medicine

Applications are invited for a 6‑month Senior Clinical Fellow position starting February 2025 at Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. The post joins an existing pool of numbered trainees participating in a comprehensive ST3+ training program in anaesthesia and intensive care medicine.

Clinical Responsibilities
  • Full shift rota participation for Post Anaesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
  • Anaesthesia provision for emergency and elective patients
  • Participation in clinical audit and teaching activities
  • Maintain Mandatory and Statutory Training (MaST) as stipulated by the Royal Free Trust
Qualifications
  • At least 2 years’ experience in Anaesthesia at CT1–CT2 level or above, ideally including 12 months in the UK and 3 months working in Intensive Care
  • Suitable for a CT3 equivalent (Stage 1 ‘top up’) post, out of programme for experience (OOPE) or post‑CCT experience
  • Encouraged to complete the Advanced training module in Perioperative Medicine in accordance with RCOA guidance
