Job summary

A leading NHS Trust in the UK is seeking a Senior Clinical Fellow to join a dynamic Acute Medicine team. You will work across all assessment units, contributing to a 7-day service and supporting the expansion of medical services. Candidates must hold full registration with the General Medical Council and MRCP, along with experience in Acute Medicine. This role offers an excellent training facility for trainees and junior doctors, aimed at providing outstanding patient care and improving patient flow.

Overview

A Vacancy at Barking Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust. We are looking for a Senior Clinical Fellow to join an existing dynamic Acute Medicine team across both hospital sites. The Acute Medical team is continuously expanding with a vision of excellent patient care, quick turnover and improving patient flow as well as an amazing training facility for our trainees and junior doctors.

Responsibilities
  • Work across all assessment units including the SDEC unit and take part in the on‑call rota, delivering a 7‑day service.
  • Complete a shadowing period following induction and participate in the Trust and Department induction program.
  • Participate in mandatory online training after successful recruitment.
  • Support the expansion of our service as part of the recent vacancy and ongoing growth.
Qualifications
  • Full registration with the General Medical Council.
  • Full MRCP and significant experience in Acute Medicine.
  • Up‑to‑date Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification.
