The role involves working in the Surgical Hot Clinic and providing emergency support to patients at Queens Hospital as appropriate.

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Full GMC registration.

  • Work with the team of consultant surgeons to ensure patients are effectively triaged and reduce delays to treatment.
  • Participate in clinical governance programmes, including appraisal and research projects, leading to publications.
  • Provide emergency support to patients at Queens Hospital as appropriate.

The post offers an excellent opportunity to consolidate and build on existing operative and clinical skills in General and emergency surgery.
