A leading NHS trust in London is seeking a Clinical Technologist to support crucial technical services in Critical Care and Theatres. This permanent full-time role involves the management and maintenance of vital medical equipment, such as anaesthetic machines and monitoring systems. This is a very exciting opportunity to help shape a service development at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery. The team is expanding to provide a high-quality technical support service to both Theatres and Critical Care. This includes supporting anaesthetic machines, physiological monitoring systems and a range of ventilators that have previously been supported by external maintenance contracts.
We are looking for an experienced Clinical Technologist with a passion for delivering high-quality care and excited to work in challenging clinical environments. You will be supported with a comprehensive mix of internal and external training.
The Clinical Engineering section provides a whole-life medical equipment management service. The team is made up of highly skilled technologists, engineers and Clinical Scientists who cover various functions including:
