Tetra Tech’s Water Consultancy is seeking a Senior Clean Water Hydraulic Modeller to deliver modelling, calibration and analytical support across AMP8 and AMP9 programmes. You will construct and maintain hydraulic models (InfoWorks WS, Synergi Water or similar), lead optioneering and analysis studies, assure modelling quality and translate outputs into outline and detailed design inputs. Day‑to‑day you will manage modelling workstreams, line‑manage team members, maintain client relationships and contribute to bids and process improvements for multi‑site, multi‑million‑pound programmes.
In the short term you will strengthen model reliability and evidence used to inform operational decisions. Over the medium term you will lead complex modelling packages, embed improved workflows and mentor colleagues. In the longer term you will shape modelling standards and digital practice across programmes, influence investment decisions that reduce supply risk and progress to principal or technical leadership roles.
Expected: degree in a relevant technical discipline. Desirable: postgraduate study, chartership or working towards it, and professional affiliation (CIWEM, ICE, IWater).
Hybrid working with regional offices across the UK; regular client and site visits may be required. Flexible arrangements considered to support delivery and collaboration.
