Job summary

Connect2H&F are seeking a highly experienced senior Class 3 Registered Building Inspector to provide technical leadership, supervision and expert plan checking within the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham's Building Control service.

This predominantly remote role focuses on complex technical review, governance and support for colleagues, with occasional London attendance and travel expenses reimbursed. Immediate start available.

Qualifications

• Senior level Building Control expertise with ability to lead complex technical matters.
• Proven track record in plan checking and regulatory interpretation.
• Experience mentoring or supervising Building Control professionals.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex plan checking and technical assessment.
• Provide technical supervision of Registered Building Inspectors.
• Apply Building Regulations interpretation across high-risk buildings.
• Ensure compliance with Building Safety Act and Gateway processes.
• Contribute to quality assurance and technical governance.
