Job summary

Esh Civils is seeking a capable Civils Site Agent to manage day-to-day schemes in the General Civils sector. You will oversee on-site activities, ensuring safety, efficiency and adherence to project specs.

The role requires leadership, strong organisational skills and a commitment to operational excellence to deliver civil engineering projects across local authorities in the North East and beyond.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND/Degree in civil engineering with 10+ years' experience.
• CSCS Gold card and 5-day SMSTS.
• Experience delivering civil engineering schemes £100k–£5m.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day on-site activities, ensuring safety, quality and schedule alignment.
• Develop and review RAMS; approve sub-contractor RAMS.
• Chair weekly internal and client progress meetings; lead reporting.
• Develop and maintain weekly programme and procurement schedules with the project planner.
• Maintain QA documentation to ISO 9001, 14001, 18001.
