A regional civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a specialist section of civil engineering for a major water sector project. The role demands significant project management experience, particularly in civil engineering and related tasks. The successful candidate will ensure projects are completed profitably in accordance with client specifications. A competitive salary package is offered.

Qualifications

• Must have extensive experience of operating at PM level on civil engineering schemes.
• Degree qualified and have the ability to manage a project team.

Responsibilities

• Profitably complete projects in accordance with the clients specifications.
• Plan resources and resolve shortfalls or over resourcing issues.
• Manage personnel and subcontractors to work safely.
• Prepare project Cost Value Reports & Contract Status Reports.
• Deliver project schemes profitably and on time.

Skills

Extensive experience at PM level on civil engineering schemes

Experience in civil, earthworks, Highways/Roads

Ideally Micro tunneling and Direction Drilling

Ability to manage a project team

Education

Degree qualified
