eNL is seeking a Senior Civil Litigation Lawyer with 5+ years of experience to join a local authority legal team in West Yorkshire. The role involves handling complex civil and housing litigation and leading a legal team.

The position offers a hybrid working pattern with two days per month in the office, providing opportunities for supervision, development and high professional standards.

Qualifications

• Must be a qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Chartered Legal Executive with senior civil litigation experience.
• Expertise in at least two areas: housing, commercial litigation, property litigation or local government law.

Responsabilités

• Manage a varied caseload across housing and civil litigation.
• Advise on regulatory enforcement, employment, education, licensing and local government matters.
• Undertake advocacy, instruct Counsel and supervise external legal work.
• Monitor legal developments and contribute to service delivery and management reporting.
• Supervise, train and mentor colleagues to maintain high professional standards.
