Job summary

Stantec in the UK is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to lead civil design on AMP8 water projects across the UK & Ireland. You will drive technical delivery and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver ambitious water infrastructure schemes.

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Civil Engineering, be chartered or working towards chartership, and have experience in water projects. This role offers flexible working and strong development opportunities.

  • Active membership in a relevant engineering institution and working towards chartership if not chartered.
  • Experience in the water industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with other disciplines to develop innovative water solutions for clients.

About you

You will be degree qualified (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering. Ideally, you will be a member of a relevant engineering institution and actively working towards your chartership, if not already chartered.

Previous experience working within the water industry is preferred. Be one of the key players in projects that are making a real difference to local communities across the UK. We have key clients dedicated to improving rivers and streams across England and Wales.

Drawing from your civil engineering experience in the water industry, you will, as part of a team, work on projects from needs identification and feasibility, through to outline and detailed design. You will have the ability to support and mentor graduates and junior engineers as they begin their careers. Enhance your technical knowledge as you work collaboratively with other disciplines to develop innovative solutions for our clients. You will also have a track record of undertaking designs and complete design deliverables within required timescales and design budgets.
