Job summary

Advance TRS is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer for wastewater infrastructure in the Brighton area, with hybrid working and an induction month in Slough.

You will lead detailed design, mentor engineers and technicians, and progress towards a Design Manager role, applying Water Industry Standards and liaising with utilities and clients.

The role requires 5+ years UK experience and a Civil Engineering degree; proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and hydraulic modelling tools is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' UK wastewater pipeline design experience.
• Knowledge of sewer infrastructure standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and hydraulic modelling.

Responsibilities

• Lead the detailed design and delivery of wastewater networks (sewerage rising mains, trunk sewers).
• Provide technical leadership on wastewater pipeline rehabilitation and renewals.
• Ensure designs comply with Water Industry Standards and UK regulatory frameworks.
• Mentor and review the work of engineers and technicians.
• Liaise with water utilities, contractors and regulators; lead client meetings.
