Job summary

Advance TRS seeks a Senior Civil Engineer with a strong background in hydraulic analysis and design to join its water team across UK projects. The role involves leading hydraulic studies for potable water and wastewater schemes and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust engineering solutions across the project lifecycle.

You will mentor junior engineers, develop technical reports, and work with clients to ensure timely, cost-effective project delivery while applying

Qualifications

Strong experience in pressurised and open-channel hydraulics.
Experience with surge analysis, transmission pipelines and/or large-scale drainage systems.
Practical experience across one or more stages of the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Lead hydraulic analysis and design across potable water and wastewater projects.
Produce and review engineering calculations, specifications, drawings and reports.
Develop hydraulic calculations and profiles for treatment works.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
Collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams to ensure project delivery.
Identify and communicate risks affecting programme, quality or cost.
Prepare time and budget estimates for bids and proposals.
Maintain technical expertise through CPD and apply industry standards.
