Alexander Associates Limited is seeking a Senior Civil Design Engineer to lead civil design activities on major water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Qualifications

• Strong experience in civil engineering design within water, wastewater, utilities or a similarly regulated engineering environment.
• Good understanding of civil engineering principles relating to treatment works, pumping stations and associated infrastructure.
• Experience producing and reviewing civil calculations, technical reports, specifications, drawings and design documentation.
• Ability to develop practical, economical and buildable civil engineering solutions that consider safety, sustainability, constructability and whole-life cost.

• Review and assure civil design outputs within your area of authority, ensuring quality and compliance with company and industry standards.
• Coordinate civil design activities with Process, Mechanical, EICA, Structural, Digital and Commissioning teams to support integrated project delivery.
• Identify and manage technical risks, design issues and opportunities for optimisation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support the design of civil infrastructure including reinforced concrete structures, buried structures, drainage systems, pipelines, earthworks, highways and site development works.
• Mentor junior engineers, graduates and apprentices, sharing knowledge and supporting technical development across the team.
• Build strong working relationships with clients, discipline leads, project teams, suppliers and site teams.
