The Role and about the client:

ITS Building People are recruiting for a Senior Engineer on behalf of a well‑established and highly regarded civil engineering outfit, on a project in Havant, Hampshire. Known for completing top quality civil engineering and infrastructure projects, developing a strong reputation for quality, attention to detail and collaborative package delivery. They are seeking a Senior Engineer with experience within infrastructure and water projects to accompany their existing site team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a major contractor within the civil engineering and infrastructure sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee projects from concept through to completion, including design, budgeting, and site delivery.
• Deliver innovative technical solutions for water and civil infrastructure projects such as reservoirs and civil engineering projects.
• Manage client relationships and communications, ensuring project requirements are understood and met.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members while collaborating closely with directors and peers.
• Utilise engineering software and tools for design, analysis, and reporting (e.g., AutoCAD, LUSAS, Robot) to support accurate and practical structure solutions.

Qualifications

• HnC Civil Engineering qualification (essential).
• Experience within Civil Engineering projects (essential).
• Prior experience in reservoir works (preferred).
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure when required.
• Good Ability to mentor Junior members of the team as and when needed.
