Job description

Fortis Recruitment have partnered with a civil engineering consultancy based in the Gloucester area to recruit a senior and a principal engineer to join their team. You will need to have effective project and client management skills combined with great communication.

The successful senior engineer / principal engineer will be working on projects including commercial, industrial, retail, health & leisure and residential. You will be looking at highways and drainage solutions so knowledge in these areas is essential.

Key Requirements

• Broad experience in writing reports such as Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Statements
• Experience in preparing drawings using AutoCAD and design of foul and surface water drainage systems using Microdrainage
• Knowledge of ground modelling software for the design of horizontal / vertical alignment, earthworks, etc
• Design and detailing of works associated with highway (s.278, s.38) and drainage agreements (s.104, s.185)
• Design of Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems

The senior engineer / principal engineer will provide leadership and support to junior members of the team. You will be joining a high performing team and help them to maintain the trust of their clients through perfect project execution.
