Location: Glasgow (Hybrid - 2 days per week in the office)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our bridges and structures team in Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong engineer who enjoys leading projects, working with a range of stakeholders, and contributing to the ongoing development and upkeep of key transport infrastructure.

About the Role

You will take a leading role in the design, evaluation, and ongoing management of bridge and structural assets across road or rail networks. Working within a multi-disciplinary environment, you will oversee project delivery from concept through to completion, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and technical excellence.

What We're Looking For
  • Professionally qualified engineer (CEng) with membership of a recognised civil or structural engineering institution
  • Strong background in bridge or structural design, with knowledge of assessment and asset management practices
  • Experience gained within highways, rail, public sector, consultancy, or contracting environments
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and programmes, coordinating teams and resources effectively
  • Confident communicator with strong technical writing and presentation skills
  • Comfortable engaging with clients, partners, and stakeholders at all levels
