Senior Civil Engineer

We are working with a well established, multi disciplined Engineering Consultancy to recruit an experienced Senior Civil Engineer. The Consultancy delivers high quality Civil and Structural engineering design services across the UK, specialising in highways, infrastructure, flood risk and drainage, and traffic and transportation. Known for technical excellence and collaborative working, the Consultancy serves both public and private sector clients, offering practical and innovative solutions. The company operates nationwide and is deeply committed to sustainability in every aspect of its work.

As Senior Civil Engineer, you will lead the design and delivery of multiple projects from concept through to completion. You will prepare adoptable highway and drainage designs under S38, S278 and S104 agreements, produce detailed designs for residential and mixed use developments, and prepare Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategy Reports. The role involves cut and fill modelling, site appraisals, client liaison, and attending meetings and site visits, requiring strong organisational and time management skills to deliver high quality results.

The ideal candidate will hold a Civil or Structural Engineering degree, be Chartered or working towards Chartership with ICE or IStructE, and have five+ years' experience in UK Civil or infrastructure Consultancy. Experience in residential development projects, design software proficiency in Causeway PDS, Civil?3D, Causeway Flow or MicroDrainage, and a clear understanding of current roads and drainage standards are essential.
