Job summary

Scott Logic in Leeds is looking for a Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines, bridging development and operations to automate workflows and improve reliability.

There are senior or lead openings; you may lead teams, set technical direction, and support migrations of builds. Expect to spend at least two days per week in the local Scott Logic office in a friendly, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience designing, implementing and maintaining end-to-end CI/CD pipelines for application deployment (Rust, Java, C#, JavaScript).
• Experience automating deployment, scaling, and monitoring processes.
• Ability to collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline workflows and troubleshoot pipeline issues.
• Support development teams to migrate their builds onto the new pipeline.
• For lead roles, you have technical leadership experience and can support colleagues' career development.
• You can work on the support rota to handle pipeline-related tickets.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth software delivery.
• Automate workflows, optimize deployment processes, and improve system reliability.
• Collaborate closely with development, QA and operations teams to streamline workflows.
• Support migration of builds onto the new pipeline and troubleshoot issues.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance for senior/lead engineers.
