Job summary

Pro Social Partners in partnership with Sandwell Children's Trust is recruiting a Senior Social Worker for the Assessment and Intervention service in Sandwell, West Midlands. You will manage a senior caseload and support less experienced colleagues in a busy children\'s safeguarding setting.

This full-time permanent role offers a competitive salary (£44,253–£49,817) with an additional £2,500 retention payment, and a supportive trust environment that prioritises safeguarding and collaborative

Qualifications

• Registered with Social Work England.
• Significant post qualifying experience in children's safeguarding.
• Confident holding complex work and supporting others.

Responsibilities

• Holding a complex caseload of assessment and intervention work.
• Carrying out timely assessments and section 47 enquiries.
• Modelling good practice and supporting newer social workers.
• Working alongside partner agencies to keep children safe.
