Job description
Overview

An exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Children's Residential Support Worker in our Children's residential home based in Cannock for up to 2 young people aged 8-18 with challenging behaviours and ADHD.

Responsibilities

The role of Senior ensures the smooth running of the home day to day, liaising with the Manager to ensure all paperwork and care plans are completed in line with Ofsted regulations and taking part in any meetings required. This will give you the opportunity to showcase your leadership skills and help and support the team to ensure our young people's needs are met and exceeded.

Qualifications

Must have experience of supporting vulnerable young people in a UK based residential setting, a minimum of 1 years' UK based children's residential care experience, a level 3 qualification or equivalent (or currently working towards) and a full UK driving licence.

Eligibility & Sponsorship

Please do not apply unless you have UK based experience working in a residential setting as you will not be considered for the role. Please note, there is no sponsorship available for this position now or in the future.

Working Hours & Stays

Shifts will be usually 2 on 4 off and will be expected to complete up to 10 sleeps per month, must be flexible and willing to work some weekends and Bank Holidays as per the rota, which will be available in advance to ensure you have the perfect work/life balance.

Salary & Bonus

Salary for the role is over £34,000 per annum, this is based on 40 hours per week at £14 per hour plus a sleep bonus of £50 per completed sleep.
