React Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Chartered Mechanical Design Engineer in Maidstone, UK. The role focuses on leading full lifecycle design from feasibility through installation, using AutoCAD, Inventor, and Plant 3D.

You will perform FEA and piping stress analyses, conduct site surveys, and mentor junior engineers. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years’ post-graduate experience, Chartered status, and a valid UK driving license, with occasional overseas travel.

Qualificações

• Requires a degree in mechanical engineering and Chartered Engineer status.
• Minimum 5 years post-graduate mechanical design experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Advanced proficiency with Autodesk CAD tools and 3D design software.
• Experience in piping stress analysis (ROHR2/CAESAR II) and FEA (Nastran/ANSYS).
• Full UK driving license and willingness to travel to UK client sites.

Responsabilidades

• Lead full lifecycle mechanical design from concept to fabrication and site installation.
• Create high-quality 2D/3D layouts, equipment arrangements, skid layouts, and isometrics.
• Perform FEA and piping stress analyses to verify performance.
• Conduct site surveys using 3D laser scanning and related tools.
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and multidisciplinary teams; mentor junior engineers.
