Job summary

Mace is seeking a Senior Change Manager to lead change management on NHS Trust capital delivery schemes in London. You will join the Programme Management Office to embed change processes and ensure alignment with the digital strategy across programme and project levels.

You will bring extensive experience in change control within large construction programmes, excellent stakeholder management, and a track record of delivering process improvements in matrix organisations.

• Previous experience in change control/project controls within a major construction project or programme is essential.
• Experience of rolling out new processes across matrix organisations.

Responsibilities

The project: We are working with a number of NHS Trusts in London and are looking for an experienced Senior Change Manager to direct at both project and programme level on behalf of Trust's capital delivery schemes. Required candidate will need to have experience of working on projects within UK healthcare sector.

You’ll Be Responsible For

• Working within the Programme Management Office (PMO) core team to develop and embed change processes across the programme.
• Integrating the programme change control processes with the digital strategy.
• Developing the functional requirements for a digital change control solution and supporting its implementation and adoption across the programme.
• Integrating the processes across all areas of the programme baseline and delivery functions, including technical, financial, schedule, scope, commercial and risk.
• Ensuring the programme change control process is embedded at both the programme and project levels.
• Identifying opportunities to improve and streamline change control processes.

Maintaining Baseline Integrity

• Ensuring consistency of change control across the programme and driving timely approval or rejection of proposals.
• Maintaining accurate change registers and associated records, ensuring a clear and auditable record of proposed, approved and rejected changes

Managing Change Control Processes

• Ensuring that the operational issues of the programme controls are managed.
• Working with change owners and relevant functional leads to ensure that change proposals are consistent.
• Managing change control activities and ensuring that lessons are learned, trends are monitored and opportunities for continuous improvement are identified.
• Maintaining oversight of change volumes, status, dependencies, decisions and emerging areas of concern.

Supporting Strategic Decisions

• Supporting the programme leadership in making strategic delivery decisions.
• Ensuring the timely submission, validation and reporting of change control data.
• Aligning the process with risk management, supporting identification, management and mitigation of risk and realisation of opportunities.

Assurance, Training And Stakeholder Support

• Supporting the development and delivery of change control guidance, training and communications for programme teams, Trusts and other relevant stakeholders.
• Working with Trusts to support the development, implementation and continuous improvement of effective local change control management processes.
• Building effective relationships across the programme and providing practical support to ensure that change control processes are understood and consistently applied

You’ll Need To Have

• Experience of management of change control methodologies and techniques across programmes.
