Senior Change Manager

Salary: £70,000 – £80,000

Location: London/Hybrid

Data Idols are working with a high-growth organisation that is investing heavily in its cloud-based data platform and is looking for a Senior Change Manager to strengthen governance, change control, and access compliance. This is a key role in creating the operating discipline that allows teams to release frequently while keeping environments stable, risks visible, and access fully auditable.

The Opportunity

As a Senior Change Manager, you’ll take ownership of end-to-end platform change governance. You’ll embed practical processes that support daily releases without introducing unnecessary friction, ensuring that change is controlled, clearly communicated, and properly evidenced.

You’ll work across engineering, data, security, and delivery stakeholders to drive consistent ways of working, clarify ownership, and improve platform reliability. You’ll also bring a reporting mindset, using metrics and dashboards to spotlight bottlenecks, highlight risk, and improve decision-making.

Skills and Experience
  • Strong experience in change management
  • Solid understanding of risk management, compliance, audit readiness, and policy adherence
  • Confident partnering with cross-functional teams to implement consistent processes and strengthen accountability
  • Experience defining reporting requirements and producing insights (Power BI experience preferred)
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including escalation and issue/risk tracking
