Senior Challenge Events Fundraiser

Responsibilities
- Help develop and implement Scope’s Challenge Events Fundraising strategy, using new ideas and feedback from supporters.
- Manage and deliver fundraising events and products from start to finish.
- Build and maintain relationships with individuals, groups, and organisations fundraising for Scope.
- Put our supporters first by developing inclusive supporter journeys and materials.
- Work with the team to create engaging programmes and activities.
- Regularly report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and support business planning.
- Monitor sector trends and ensure Scope’s challenge events remain competitive and up to date.
- Support compliance with fundraising regulations, health & safety, and safeguarding procedures.
- Collaborate with colleagues across Scope to align fundraising with our charitable goals and vision.
About You
- Proven track record in fundraising.
- Experience managing and coordinating challenge event participants.
- Experience analysing past campaigns and evaluating programme performance over time.
- In‑depth understanding of fundraising principles, techniques, and best practices.
- Project management skills and experience managing campaigns with multiple stakeholders.
- Experience managing external agencies and working with internal creative teams.
- Familiarity with innovation within challenge event fundraising.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build and maintain relationships with donors, volunteers and stakeholders.
- Ability to develop and implement effective fundraising strategies and campaigns.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed fundraising targets and goals.
- Strong analytical skills; ability to assess fundraising performance and make data‑driven decisions.
- Proficient using fundraising software and CRM systems.
- Strong numeracy skills for financial data.
- Project/event management skills.
