Job summary

Testing Site - JPMC is seeking a Vice President in CCOR to independently oversee risk and compliance for Securities Services product offerings. You will assess processes, risks and controls, challenge risk owners, and interact across functions to ensure regulatory alignment.

You will lead risk assessments, respond to regulatory exams, and guide senior management with robust, defendable advice while driving improvements in a complex, evolving risk landscape.

Qualifications

• Experience and understanding of the Securities Services business and its inherent risks.
• Ability to learn quickly and manage multiple demands.
• Self-starter who can drive and own deliverables while collaborating with the broader team.
• Strong written and oral communication with the ability to provide defendable advice.
• Comfortable engaging with all levels of the organisation on risk and control matters.

Responsibilities

• Participate in New Business Initiative assessments to review and challenge new material compliance and operational risks.
• Proactively engage the business on risk and control matters, steering discussions toward remediation.
• Contribute to compliance and operational risk assessments and identify potential vulnerabilities.
• Monitor and assess the effectiveness of risks, offering guidance for improvements within LOBs.
• Prepare and support reporting for senior management and regulatory bodies as required.
• Assist with regulatory exams, inspections, and requests by reviewing supporting documentation and responses.
• Attend governance and regulator meetings to provide updates from a CCOR perspective.
• Lead engagement with the growing digital assets agenda for Securities Services CCOR.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide expert guidance on compliance and risk-related matters.
• Review and update policies and procedures in line with regulatory changes and best practices.
• Identify more effective team practices and stay current with regulatory developments.
