The role involves providing and developing CBT interventions for patients with Long Term Physical Conditions and Medically Unexplained Symptoms, supervising LTC practitioners, and collaborating with multi-agency colleagues for high-quality psychological care. This position offers career development and training opportunities in a supportive environment.

As a senior therapist in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, with post qualification training and experience in Long Term Physical Conditions (LTCs) / Medically Unexplained Symptoms (MUS), the post‑holder is an autonomous clinical practitioner, responsible for their own actions within the context of professional and BABCP guidelines and the overall framework of the service's objectives and policies.

We also run regional and national services, including help for new parents (perinatal care), eating disorders, forensic services, sexual health, and support for people in prison with mental health, drug, or alcohol problems.
We offer great career development for both clinical and non‑clinical roles, with ongoing training and support to help you learn and grow.
