A prominent healthcare provider in Norwich is seeking a dedicated support worker to assist in its Cardiology department. You will be responsible for supporting patients pre and post procedures while working with a multidisciplinary team. Candidates should have a good educational background and experience in a healthcare setting. Our innovative Cardiology department's Cardiac Cath labs comprise of 5 cath labs, a recovery area and an Elective Unit. Procedures completed in the cath lab include coronary diagnostic procedures, interventional angioplasty, Electrophysiology Studies and Pacemaker insertion. In addition we run a 24‑hour heart attack service which is provided out of hours on an on‑call basis. Our service currently entails 2.5 GA lists a week supporting complex pacing and electrophysiology procedures. We also have a fortnightly cardioversion list. This is set to increase in the future.
