Job summary

Rise Resourcing is seeking a Senior Category Manager to lead a growth category, delivering profitable range, pricing and supplier strategies. The role involves relocation or flexibility to be office-based 3 days a week in the South West of England.

You will develop and execute the category strategy, take full P&L responsibility, and build strong supplier partnerships while leading a small category team through high-speed growth.

• Proven experience as a Senior Category Manager or Senior Buyer in fast-paced retail.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of category growth.
• Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Analytical, data-driven and confident presenting to senior stakeholders.
• Highly organised and adaptable to a fast-moving business.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategy across range, pricing and promotions.

• Present category performance, strategy and growth plans to senior leadership.

• Lead, coach and develop the category team to achieve outstanding results.
