Job summary

Accor is seeking a Senior Category Manager to drive offer range management and procurement strategies for Food & Beverages across ENA and hotels in the UK region. The role involves defining product ranges, specifications, and supplier engagement to optimize revenue and profitability.

You will lead sourcing, RFx processes, and supplier negotiations in a collaborative, fast-changing environment, supporting cross-functional teams within the ENA procurement and GPO entities.

Qualifications

• Procurement process & Category Management knowledge.
• Experience in foodservice distribution networks is a plus.
• Language(s): English fluent; French and/or Dutch a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define offer range strategies based on guest needs and market trends.
• Develop procurement sourcing strategies and supplier base to enable category vision.
• Lead RFx processes (RFI/RFP/RFQ) and evaluate supplier proposals; negotiate and contract.
• Collaborate with ENA Category Managers and cross-functional teams to support procurement activities.

Inside the Europe North Africa teams of Accor GPO, the Senior Category Manager is responsible to ensure hotels in the country can benefit from the best quality and purchasing conditions for the Food & Beverages categories. You will participateto the definition of the ENA procurement strategy, the range management and execute it. This person will be a part of a team responding to the Europe North Africa Procurement Food distribution category.

Job Description

Offer range management

• Understanding of business & guest needs, as well as new trends (competitive watch)
• Translation of needs from Customer team into Category «offer» strategies
• Definition of product / services assortment range to meet these needs
• Definition of product/service specifications
• Responsibility on revenue and profit for categories in scope

Procurement/Sourcing M anagement

• Development of procurement sourcing strategy to enable Category vision (which suppliers to include, prioritization of tenders, supplier dependency review etc.)
• Definition of best sourcing procurement process and frequency of price reviews
• Definition of the best logistic solution
• Development ofnewsupplier base / innovation

Source to contract

• Lead on execution of RFI/RFP/RFQ
• Assessment of suppliers' proposals (products & services, price, …)
• Shortlisting, Negotiation and decision on selected suppliers
• Closing & contracting with selectedsuppliers, implementation of contracts

Key Interactions:

Internally:

Frequent interactions with ENA Category Managers, GPO Procurement Business, Customer facing team, Digital Country manger and other departments supporting Procurement activities (e.g. Legal, F&B, sustainability)

Externally:

Extensive interactions with current & new suppliers, interactions with customers within Operations team

• Collaboration & relationship-building with Local stakeholders is key
• Strong teaming with ENA Category Manager
• Fast-changing environment – agility needed
• Autonomous on categories

Qualifications

At least 5 years of experience in Procurement

Business School / Master in Purchasing

Language(s) English fluent, French and/or Dutch is a plus

Expertise Procurement process & Category Management

Specific knowledge in foodservice distribution network in UK and/or Netherlands, Belgium
