Job summary

A leading insurance firm in Greater London is seeking a Lead Analyst to oversee non-natural catastrophe reporting and manage portfolio analytics. This role involves preparing data for key stakeholders and supporting event response efforts. The ideal candidate enjoys solving complex business problems and working collaboratively.   • Lead analyst for non-natural catastrophe reporting across key classes of business.
  • Manage all aspects of portfolios for exposure management and catastrophe analytics.
  • Analyze monthly variances and ensure good data governance within portfolios.
  • Prepare data for key stakeholders including Group reporting.
  • Support during Event Response activities.
  • Complete ad hoc requests from underwriters for pricing and risk monitoring.

Responsibilities
  • Lead analyst for Non-natural catastrophe reporting across key classes of business.
  • Responsibility for managing all aspects of these portfolios for exposure management and catastrophe analytics purposes, with internal assistance and our outsourcer.
  • Analysis of monthly variances and ensuring good data governance within Arch portfolios.
  • Preparing data for key stakeholders including Group reporting and outwards reinsurance purchasing for multiple Arch entities.
  • Internal and external reporting.
  • Support during Event Response.
  • Completing ad hoc requests from underwriters to assist with pricing and monitoring of risk.
  • Ad hoc requests from the Catastrophe Managers and Head of Department.
