Job summary

Clanmil Housing Group is seeking a Senior Carer to lead and support the care team in a 24-hour residential setting. You will administer medications, maintain accurate care records and supervise staff while delivering induction and coaching to new team members.

The role focuses on person-centred support, dignity and respect for residents, with 10 sleep-in shifts per month. NVQ2 or five years’ related experience are required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care, or five years' experience in place of it.
• Two years' experience in a care or support environment with NVQ Level 2 held.
• Five years' experience in a care or support environment without NVQ Level 2.

Job description

Senior Carer post leading care staff at De la Cour House, a residential care setting run by Clanmil Housing Group. The work centres on person-centred support, medication administration and accurate record-keeping, with supervision, induction and mentoring of staff. Its 24-hour residential setting brings regular sleep-in shifts, roughly ten each month. Fit depends on an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or five years' experience, and no visa sponsorship is offered.
