About the role

Are you a senior experienced carer or support worker with the passion to make a difference? Can you lead a small team of people to deliver outstanding care to our residents, whilst encouraging them to always do their best? Our care teams make a real difference every day and your professionalism, teamed with kindness and compassion, will be at the core of everything you do.

Supporting the Home Manager, and leading a team of carers, you’ll be responsible for planning and implementing the kind of care that will give our residents a real sense of security, dignity, and independence. You’ll ensure care plans are regularly reviewed through continuous assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. You’ll be able to manage your time between supporting your team effectively and ensuring the wellbeing of our residents.

Our highly experienced team provides nursing care and support, ensuring individuals are listened to, valued and respected. Our Burnham care home has warm and friendly communal areas and facilities, including a sun lounge, bar, quiet room, convenience shop and activity room, providing an inviting place to catch up with friends.

In return we’ll provide opportunities for career development and training to support your personal growth, all delivered in a nurturing, engaging and rewarding environment.

And in return

The Trust is a great place to work; we’ve been providing care for almost 1,000 years and we’re currently the second largest not‑for‑profit provider in the UK. Not‑for‑profit means that we reinvest every penny we make into our residents, colleagues and the care homes we live and work in. Therefore, we offer a great range of benefits, including a competitive salary, training and development, and keeping our colleagues safe with PPE and daily testing.
