Job summary

Cinnamon Care Collection is seeking a Senior Care Assistant for Lakeview Grange in Chichester, West Sussex. The role is full time, day shifts, with a starting rate of £14.56 per hour plus company benefits.

You will care for residential and dementia residents, work as part of a close-knit team, and mentor junior carers. NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) and knowledge of CQC standards are required; prior supervisory and medication administration experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Physically and medically able to carry out duties with or without assistive aids.
• Team player, self-motivation, proactive, flexible and adaptable.
• Ability to organise and prioritise workload and work under pressure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Care for residential and dementia residents.
• Support and mentor care assistants within the team.
• Promote choice, individuality and independence for residents.
• Administer medications where qualified and maintain related records.
• Contribute to induction, training and career development for staff.
