Care UK is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to join our bank team in Beverley. You will lead shifts, manage resident care plans, and liaise with families and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care. You will administer medication and perform risk assessments, while supporting residents to stay active and independent.

Qualifications

• Need to lead and supervise shifts.
• Good organisational skills and IT literacy.
• Understanding of care planning processes.
• Willingness to undertake medication administration training if needed.

Responsibilities

• Leading and supervising your shift
• Case managing residents and liaising with families, healthcare professionals and other stakeholders to ensure that the best care plans are created and delivered
• Administering and recording medication
• Carrying out risk assessments
• Working alongside care assistants to support residents with daily needs, ensuring residents remain as active and independent as possible
• Working closely with the leadership team to develop services
• Provide a fun, inclusive, and professional approach at all times
