Job summary

Home Instead Isle of Wight is seeking a Senior Care Professional to join our friendly team and help deliver person-centred care for our regular clients. You will mentor Care Professionals and act as a key link between carers, clients and families.

The role features a 25-hour contract with set rounds and a set rota, plus an on-call rota with additional pay. We offer paid mileage, induction and ongoing training to support your development.

Qualifications

• Previous care experience ideally in domiciliary/community care.
• Confidence to guide, support and lead by example.
• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on care to regular clients (personal care, medication support, meals, companionship).
• Mentor and support Care Professionals, including shadowing and client introductions.
• Liaise with office team to coordinate care between carers, clients and families.

Senior Care Professional – Home Instead Isle of Wight

Are you an experienced carer ready for the next step? Home Instead Isle of Wight is looking for a Senior Care Professional to join our friendly team and help us deliver the person-centred care we’re known for.

The role

• 25-hour contract with set rounds and a set rota, so you know where you’re going and who you’re seeing each week
• On-call rota 1 in 6, with additional pay for On-Call duties
• Supporting and mentoring our Care Professionals, including shadowing and introductions to new clients
• Delivering hands‑on care to your regular clients, including personal care, medication support, meal preparation and companionship
• Working closely with the office team as a key link between carers, clients and families
