SuperHiring is seeking an experienced Care Manager for a Children’s Residential Service in Eastbourne. You will provide clinical and operational oversight, ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding, and trauma-informed support for children with complex needs across multi-site homes.

The role requires Deputy Manager level experience, strong regulatory knowledge, and the ability to lead teams while maintaining exceptional care documentation and reporting. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in children’s residential care at deputy manager level or above.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and regulatory standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

Responsabilités

• Spend a minimum of one day per week in each home.
• Attend weekly meetings with the Registered Manager to review care quality and safeguarding.
• Provide line management and supervision to Deputy Managers.
• Oversee the Care Co-ordinator role across satellite services.
• Support assessment and admission planning for new young people.
• Contribute to professional meetings for all young people across homes.
• Support audits, action plans and quality improvement following feedback.
• Monitor and quality-check approvals and care documentation.
