Job summary

Aurem Care, part of Aurem Care Shared Services Limited, is recruiting a Cook to join our kitchen team and deliver nutritious meals that support residents’ wellbeing and enjoyment. You will work with the Head Chef to maintain high food safety, hygiene and service standards.

The role offers flexible bank contracts with shifts from 7:00am, opportunities to engage with residents, and participation in apprenticeship schemes. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

  • Cooking experience in care, healthcare, hospitality or catering settings.
  • Knowledge of nutritional requirements and special diets.
  • Good stock control, ordering and food management procedures.
  • Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Head Chef in day-to-day kitchen operations.
  • Supervise kitchen assistants and trainees, identify training needs.
  • Prepare and cook nutritious meals to high standard.
