This is a Senior Care Assistant role at Avery Healthcare's care home in Wolverhampton. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and working alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff.

Main duties of the job

As a Senior Care Assistant, your focus will be on monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, being involved in the person-centred care planning process, supporting residents with their medication requirements, and undertaking staff supervisions.   • Being involved in the person-centred care planning process, by implementing, monitoring, and undertaking monthly evaluations.
  • Supporting residents with their medication requirements.
  • Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff with their development where required.
  • Acting as a key point for contact with residents, their relatives, and visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in their wellbeing, ensuring that any reasonable requests are acted upon, and concerns or complaints are escalated.
