Job summary

Athona Limited is seeking a Night Senior Care Assistant to join a luxury care home in Lancaster, providing high-quality care to residents.

This full-time night role runs 8pm to 8am on a two-week rolling rota, offering £13.20 per hour (£16.50 overtime). You will lead a team, administer medications, monitor health, review care plans, complete documentation, and liaise with healthcare professionals to ensure safeguarding and person-centred care.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
• Experience leading a care team, particularly at night.
• Knowledge of safeguarding vulnerable adults and risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a night shift care team.
• Administer medications as per care plans and policies.
• Monitor residents’ conditions and identify deterioration in health.
• Develop and review care plans in accordance with resident needs.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Promote person-centred care for all residents.

• Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and on time.
• Promote safeguarding practices and protect vulnerable adults.

Currently, we have an excellent opportunity for a Night Senior Care Assistant to join a luxury care home in Lancaster, providing high-quality care to residents.

Salary: £13.20ph (£16.50 overtime)

Position: Snr Care Assistant – Nights

Hours: Full Time – 8pm to 8am on a two-week rolling rota

Setting: Luxury Care Home – Dementia/Elderly care

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading and supervising a team of care assistants during the night shift.
• Administering medications as per care plans and policies.

For this role, we’re looking for someone who has:

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise with healthcare professionals.
