Senior Care Assistant

Within your role as a Senior Care Assistant, you can really make a difference to our residents' lives. Your responsibilities will include:

Responsibilities
  • Aiding residents' emotional well‑being and social needs
  • Administration and monitoring of medications for residents
  • Supporting residents at meals time
  • Mentoring and assisting new employees
  • Implementing, monitoring, and reviewing care plans to meet residents’ specific needs
  • Planning, allocating, and supervising the work of the team of care assistants

Qualifications & Experience
  • Experience as a Senior Care Assistant and leading a team
  • Comfortable working night shifts
  • Friendly and caring attitude
  • Ability to engage well with the residents and their families
  • Understanding of people with Dementia
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or willingness to work towards this
  • Great communication skills, both written and verbal
