Job summary

Holmes Care Group is seeking a Senior Care Assistant for Lomond View – Bank shifts in Cupar, Scotland. You will deliver high-quality, person-centred care to residents and support the care team in daily duties.

Ideal candidates hold a Health and Social qualification with SVQ Level 3 and have experience in the care sector. The role includes working with nurses, engaging residents, and fostering family communication.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Health and Social qualification.
• Experience in the Care Industry.
• SVQ Level 3 qualification is required.

Responsibilities

• Providing excellent care and support to residents.
• Supervising and motivating all Care Assistants to function efficiently as a team member.
• Assisting residents in physical, emotional and spiritual needs.
• Providing support and guidance to family members.
• Assisting trained Nurses and Unit Managers to lead and develop staff.
• Engaging in day-to-day activities and providing companionship to residents.
• Maintaining good communication and developing effective working relationships with other team members.
• Report on the wellbeing of residents and liaise with GP and support Managers.
• Hold a current SVQ Level 3 qualification.
