Job summary

Highgate Care is seeking a Senior Care Assistant for our Allerton Bywater site in West Yorkshire. The role is permanent, full-time at 33 hours per week, with occasional evenings and weekends. Salary is expressed as £14.59 per hour, with sponsorship not available.

You will be part of a small, compassionate team delivering person-centred care. The successful candidate will support residents with daily living, assist with mobility, and maintain accurate daily records.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or willingness to work towards it.
• Experience in a care setting.
• Able to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily living and dignity.
• Supervise junior staff and support training.
• Assist residents with mobility and personal care.
• Maintain and complete written daily records.
• Answer nurse calls and respond to messages.
• Liaise with GPs and care managers as needed.
