Skycare in Bradford/Leeds is seeking Healthcare Assistants and Senior Healthcare Assistants for full-time roles (33–44 hours per week) with day and night shifts. Salary ranges £12.82–£13.22 per hour depending on experience. Permanent contracts in nursing homes across Leeds and Bradford.

Applicants must have at least 1 year in a nursing home or similar role, NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (mandatory), and medication training. Sponsorship is not provided; UK right to work is required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a nursing home or similar role.
• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care is mandatory.
• Medication training and competency are mandatory for Senior HCA.
• Right to work in the UK; sponsorship not available.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels; able to work independently.

Responsabilités

• Support and assist residents with daily living to high care standards.
• Provide leadership to care staff and supervise activities during shifts.
• Administer medications safely and accurately in line with training and home policies.
• Observe, monitor and report changes in residents’ wellbeing to nursing staff.
• Maintain accurate daily records and contribute to individual care plans.
• Engage residents in social activities and encourage hobbies and interests.
