Excelcare’s Glennfield House Care Home in Wisbech is hiring a Senior Care Assistant. You will mentor a team of Care Assistants, report to the Home Manager and work with other seniors to deliver compassionate, person-centred care in a supportive environment.

You will engage residents in meaningful activities, promote independence and dignity, and contribute to care plans and risk assessments with ongoing reviews.

Competenze

• Two years’ experience as a Care Assistant or Senior Care Assistant with an NVQ 2/3 qualification in Health and Social Care OR three years’ experience without an NVQ.
• Experience in a nursing or care home OR as a home care worker.
• Understanding of Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulations.
• Knowledge of dementia care is desirable.
• Enthusiastic, inspiring and caring attitude.
