Wood Care Group is seeking a dedicated Senior Care Assistant to support residents with daily living, including personal care, meals, and mobility, while safeguarding wellbeing. You will assist with activities of daily living and participate in the medication round as needed.
You will lead shifts, mentor team members, and contribute to ongoing care planning. Training is provided, with a preference for Level 3 Health & Social Care or equivalent and prior care experience.
As a Senior Care Assistant, we ask for you to care for our residents like they are your own family, caring for their Physical, Psychological and Social needs. Assisting residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing and assisting with meals. As a Senior Care Assistant, you would also be responsible for the medication round, as well as leading the shift. We would love to hear from you if you have previously worked as a Senior Care Assistant, Care Giver, Homecare Worker or Community Support Worker, as we provide full training, we also welcome applications from candidates who do not have previous senior experience but have a passion for care with a valid qualification.
