Job Summary

This is a Senior Care Assistant role at Akari Care, a supportive and inclusive care home community in West Denton. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high‑quality care to residents, including observing, reviewing, and finalising care plans, assisting with social activities, and supporting the training and supervision of junior colleagues.

Main Duties

As a Senior Care Assistant, you will work alongside the care assistants to provide the highest quality of care to our residents. This includes observing, reviewing, and finalising care planning needs, assisting and coming up with ideas for social activities, and supporting the training and supervision of junior and new colleagues in an Akari value‑driven way. You will be responsible for creating an environment where the atmosphere feels like our residents' personal home, catering to their individual needs and to those of their visiting family members.
