Job summary

Hartford Care is seeking a Senior Care Assistant for day shifts at Boulters Lock Care Home in Maidenhead. This full-time role covers 36 hours per week and includes alternate weekend working, with an attractive £2,000 joining incentive for direct hires.

You will lead daytime shifts, deliver high-quality care, support residents' privacy and dignity, and supervise the team. Applicants should have at least two years’ residential care experience and a Level 3 NVQ/Diploma in Health and Social Care.

Senior Care Assistant - Day Shifts

Full-time - 36 hours per week (includes alternate weekend working)

Location: Boulters Lock Care Home - Maidenhead, Berkshire (SL6 8HP)

This position will include an additional £2,000 attraction payment which will be paid as £1000.00 on joining and £1000.00 on completion of the probationary period. This will only be valid for direct applications not through an agency. T&C's apply.

The Role

As a Day Senior Care Assistant, you will provide high quality, individualised care and support to residents during the day time, promoting each person’s privacy, dignity and independence, be responsible for supervising and leading the shift and team members, and working together as a team to create a happy and caring atmosphere.

Whether you are carrying out a direct observation on a care assistant who is assisting someone to eat their lunch, checking that a resident’s activities log has been completed, giving a detailed handover to the team on the next shift, or assisting a resident to get dressed in the morning, you will do so with care at the heart of everything you do.
