We are seeking a dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our team and provide compassionate care to elderly residents in the community. The ideal candidate will have experience in senior care, be proficient in creating care plans, supervising and training of staff whilst working out in the community and possess strong leadership skills.

Duties:

– Develop and implement individualized care plans for client

– Provide assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming – as/when required

– Supervise, train and manage community care staff

– Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals

– Must be able to drive and have access to your own vehicle

– On call duties as required

Requirements:

– Previous experience in senior care or a related field

– Proficiency in IT systems for maintaining resident records

– Ability to work effectively in a care home environment

– Strong communication skills to interact with clients and their families

– Experience supervising staff or leading a team
